This policy applies to the use of https://www.payscope.io, and related sites, apps, communications, and services ("Services"). The Services are operated by Payscope LLC ("we", "us", or "our").
The collection, use, and sharing of personal data for registered users is subject to this Privacy Policy. We will not share your data except as described in this policy. By using these Services, you agree to the collection and use of your data in accordance to this policy.
Changes to this policy may be made by us. We will notify users of changes through this Service, or other means of communications, and allow users to review changes before they become effective. Continued use of the Service means that the collection, use, and sharing of personal data is subject to the updated policy.
If a user wishes to withdraw consent to our privacy policy, they may delete their account along with their associated Payscope data at any time.
To create an account, we request personal identifiable information, including name and email address. This is to help ensure that user accounts are unique and identifiable for surveys and communications.
In addition, we require that employers complete a company profile prior to creating surveys. This includes the name and logo that you upload of the company that the employer is hiring for, and may be used to identify the company on each of the posts the employer creates.
If you choose to sign up or log in to Payscope using a third party integration, such as Facebook or Google, we will have access to the profile data and email address recorded by that provider. We only use and retain your name and email address as necessary for the Service.
We may use your personal data to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link in email or adjusting your account settings.
We also may use your personal data to contact you regarding administrative, transactional, or legal messages. Note there is no option to opt-out of messages from these categories.
When you create a survey and/or job post, it becomes publicly accessible on our Services. In addition, job post data will be indexed by a third party search provider for use on our Services.
Information pertaining to the survey or job post will be presented on the page, except for compensation data such as the employer budget and candidate compensation requirements.
Employer budget and candidate compensation requirement figures will only be accessible to the respective user that input the data. Budget and candidate compensation requirements are compared on our server only. Only the employer receives data from other parties, in the form of identifying information and confirmation whether the candidate answering their respective survey is within budget.
No third party receives budget and candidate compensation requirement data.
If you initiate a transaction through the Service, such as purchasing a job post or subscription, we will use third-party services for payment processing. We will not store or collect your payment card details. Payment information is passed directly to our third-party payment processors, and usage of that data shall be governed by their privacy policy.
We may use cookies to track user sessions, which are necessary for the processes of the Services. These processes include authenticating identity, securing data, and remembering preferences.
You may instruct your browser to deny cookies. However it may prevent the usage of some of our Services.
Google Analytics collects activity and certain information from visitors, including location, browser, and operating system. However we use settings that anonymize IP addresses and disable sharing of information with Google and related services from Google including ads.
Since information is collected in bulk and not connected to any single user, we do not collect opt-out preferences for analytics. You may opt-out by Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
We may collect your IP address to transmit to a third party search index provider for the purpose of returning location-based job search results. Your IP address is not stored by us, nor connected with any personal identifiable information.
If you do not wish for your IP address to be collected, specify a location when using our job search service.
The Service may link to third party-controlled websites, like a business’s URL. We do not share your personal information with third parties, except within the scope of our Services, and are not responsible for their privacy practices.
Personal data may be edited through account settings, except the email address may not be changed per account. Survey, job post, and survey responses may be edited by the corresponding user.
A user may delete a survey, job post or survey response to remove data from view of another party. Alternatively, they may delete their account and related data will be purged.
We will retain user personal information until the account is deleted. Surveys, job posts, and related compensation data are retained for six months unless a user deletes the data before then.
It is possible that we will need to disclose information about you when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process or if we have a good faith belief that disclosure is reasonably necessary to (1) investigate, prevent or take action regarding suspected or actual illegal activities or to assist government enforcement agencies; (2) enforce our agreements with you; (3) investigate and defend ourselves against any third-party claims or allegations; (4) protect the security or integrity of our Services (such as by sharing with companies facing similar threats); or (5) exercise or protect the rights and safety of Payscope, our users, personnel or others.
We can also share your personal data as part of a sale, merger or change in control, or in preparation for any of these events. Any other entity which buys us or part of our business will have the right to continue to use your data, but only in the manner set out in this Privacy Policy unless you agree otherwise.
We implement security safeguards designed to protect your data, such as HTTPS and unique user tokens. However, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of any information that you send us. There is risk that data may be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards and/or that of our third party providers.
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Children has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
